Seeking Election Workers for 
2026 School Budget Vote/Board Election


The Garrison Union Free School District is seeking two (2) election workers for the 2026 School Budget Vote and Board Election taking place on May 19, 2026. 


Interested individuals must be appointed by the Board of Education and must be able to commit to a one hour training session with the School District Clerk in advance of the vote. Candidates must also be available to work during the full duration of the polling hours, including an early arrival for preparations, and counting of the ballots when the polls close. The work period runs from 6:00 AM to approximately 10:00 PM. Election workers will be compensated at a rate of $256 for the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and other refreshments will also be provided.
