The Garrison School is dedicated to creating a mutually caring, respectful and stimulating environment for all of our students, grades Pre-K through 8. This will foster self-esteem and love of learning by empowering our children to excel academically, socially, creatively and physically. We will develop evolving curricula and instructional methods to meet the needs of all learners, enabling them to experience success and to reach their full potential. They vary from district to district but at their core, curriculum maps serve as a roadmap for educators, students and families to understand the sequence of topics, the essential understandings and the key skills embedded within a course that is accompanied by a timeline for instruction. Please note that these maps are intended to serve as a flexible guide. Other factors and data may impact the timeline outlined in each map.
