Reminder: Alternative Inclement Weather Pick-Up and Drop-Off Locations-2025-2026 School Year

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we head into the winter season, I want to take a moment to remind families of our Alternative Inclement Weather Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures for certain roads in our district.

During severe weather events—especially when roads at higher elevations or unpaved areas become unsafe for bus travel—we may activate predetermined alternative pick-up and drop-off locations. These procedures help us keep schools open and ensure the safe transportation of all students, even when some roads are inaccessible.

If conditions allow us to open schools on time or with a delay, but specific roads are deemed unsafe, we ask that families living on the affected roads bring their children to the designated alternative locations.
