Board of Education Seeks Community 
Volunteer to Serve on Audit Committee

The Garrison Union Free School District Board of Education is seeking one (1) community volunteer with expertise in financial, accounting, auditing procedures, or related field to serve on the Audit Committee.

The Audit Committee assists the Board of Education in oversight of the Internal/External Audit functions. The Audit Committee also advises and recommends to the full Board of Education action pertaining to the district’s financial practices and procedures.

The Audit Committee currently has a vacancy for one (1), two-year term commencing on July 1, 2025 and expiring on June 30, 2027.
