Buildings and Grounds
The Garrison Union Free School District sits on a beautiful campus which looks out over our school fields and upon the Hudson River to the west, and to our own School Forest to the east. The original building was constructed in 1793 and has been added on to multiple times over the years. Learn more about the history of the district, it's structure, and grounds here.

Safety Lead in Drinking Water Survey
As part of New York State Public Health Law §1110 and 10 NYCRR Subpart 67-4, all public schools are required to test drinking water outlets for lead to ensure the safety of students and staff. The most recent testing of all potable water outlets has been completed. The results are below.
If any outlet exceeds 5 parts per billion (ppb):
- It is immediately taken out of service for drinking or cooking.
- Clear signage is posted indicating the outlet is not for consumption.
- Safe alternative drinking water is provided at no cost.
- A remediation plan is implemented, and follow-up testing ensures compliance before the outlet is returned to service.
